i'm so super happy!!!!!

i'm going to work for some US company for Communic Asia for 4 days starting from tmr. and i just went out with my bosses(2 angmohs fr US) and a girl, who will be working with me for the 4 days, to shop for our uniforms.

they said sth like this whole thing was very last minute and so they didn't have the time to churn out our uniform with the company logo on it. and hence this shopping trip.

so we met them at orchard and we went to zara(!!!!) to shop for our uniform...since it is the nearest shop to where we meet them.

and they say we can choose the clothes we wanna wear for the fair..preferrably something that we'll wear in the future if we just go out on normal shopping trips too..since we get to keep the clothes!!! wahahas.

so me and the ger went around the zara trying on lotsa clothes...and the best thing is we don't have to look at the price tags since they're paying for it!!!! -beams-

well then after trying on lotsa clothes for quite some time..the 2 angmohs seem to get kinda bored..and look like they just wanna get it over and done with.

me and sherin(don't know if i spell her name correctly) were quite paiseh la..since we were so fickle-minded and took a really long time.

plus our taste were quite different actually. she wanted to get some top and shorts which look really formal. and i don't really feel like getting formal wear. but luckily our bosses say that its way too formal..and so she gave up on that top and shorts. i was like...phew.

actually i wanted to go to other shops and see too...since i ain't really a major zara fan and i don't really fancy the clothes there..but its pretty paiseh to ask the bosses to walk to another shop to start another round of trying-out-of-clothes, especially when they looked like they were dying. wahahas.

actually one of them were quite unhappy with me i think..i'm not really sure la.

coz he tried to suggest to us to wear some hideous red top(red is part of their company colours) which i think it look like those tops that aunties wear for chinese new yr or to the market and i really wouldn't want to be caught dead wearing it.

so i sorta blurted out that it really look like some chinese new year top.

and ever since then i thought he looked pretty glum and i'm not sure if its becoz he's unhappy with me or he's just too tired after taking a long distance flight.

anyways.

in the end we settled for a pair of white shorts, a black tank top, and a black spag top. a set each for both of us. and our bosses paid like $200+ for our clothes. luckily its only the two of us. i wonder if they had hired more girls won't that mean that they have to pay more? like say $1000+ for 10 girls?

the pair of white shorts alone is damn ex la...75 bucks. if i'm using my own $ i really wouldn't wanna fork out $75 for this kinda white shorts which i think u can get it at bugis street for like maybe 20 bucks only.

i think zara stuff are soooo overpriced.

but anyway. i'm still very happy!!!! hahas!! new clothes to add to my wardrobe!!! =) =) =)
