day 3, 2nd Jun, Saturday:

went to work for O2 ytd.

as expected, the job really sux.

supposed to meet at 1pm at the O2 booth there. i thought the thing was starting soon and i was going to be late...in the end i rushed down to suntec.

reached there le turned out that the thing starts at 2pm and 1pm is to let us have time to change and get ready. like -.- i rushed for nth.

met 2 of the O2 gers there and they accompanied me to go to the toilet to change.(i wouldn't wanna be caught dead wearing that awful dress alone)
yupx...while i was changing subsequently other gers came into the toilet and change too..and after changing it seems like nobody wanna go out...wahahas. we stayed in the toilet till joanna came in and rush us.

then...at 2pm...we were 'lAuNChEd'.(in the O2 ppl's words)

i was in the flyer team...and there were 6 gers in total in the flyer team. in the end they decided to go and distribute flyers in twos..and i paired up with some ger whom i suspect is a PRC.

it was really quite turn off working w her la. u know sometimes there are just ppl whom u don't really tok to but when u tok to them u know v well that u can't clique with them. and i think she's one of them.

at first she approached customers and started telling them abt the O2 lucky draw in her PRC-like chinese..and then when she realized that they were giving her a blank look she tried to converse in english which sounds really awkward to me.(ok i know my english aint that great either)

then halfway while i was distributing flyers she suddenly came up to me and say sth like(in chinese),

'u know just now got some guy came to ask me what's the diff between nokia and O2?'

'i think that's such a stupid question la'

and she continued, in her exact words and irritating PRC slang, 'wo jue de ta zhi shi xiang yao gen wo jiang hua'

and i tried really hard to refrain myself from rolling my eyes.

like..she think too much already.

she's so not pretty can. with her maggie hair and complete PRC face.

ok i'm being really mean here. but i can't stand her seriously.

anyways we gathered back at the booth at the 2 plus. then the 20 of us went out to the entrance there and stood in a U shaped...with 6 gers in the middle posing with the PDA while the rest of us stood there and blow bubbles.

its sooo freaking dumb.

and then all the passerbys started taking photos..dunno for what...not like its a super maginificent scene anyway.

and after standing there blowing bubbles for like 5 to 10mins we walked to the next 2 entrances and did the same thing.

then we went back to our respective jobs scope again and i cont distributing flyers. some ger, in the flyer team too, came to join us coz she couldn't find her partner..and we went to shop around the IT fair while distributing flyers. wahahas.

but it was pretty hard to squeeze thru the crowd with the stupid wings behind and i gotta walk sideways like some crab most of the time.

not to mention that now n then there are ppl coming up to us saying really awkward things like, 'wa angels ar. so u all can fly to the heaven?'(like what u want me to say? yar yar i can fly. really.)

after which we went back to the booth again for water break and then climbed up some stairs in two rows...with the front row gers holding the PDAs and the back row gers blowing bubbles to create the 'heavenly effect', while the emcee rattled on and on abt the new O2 product.

after that we walked down the stairs and stood in front of the booth in one row...i don't really know what izzit for. but then this lao ah pek started taking photos of us individually...-.-

and then we went out to the respective entrance areas and started doing the same thing again...those who are supposed to pose will pose while the rest blow bubbles. blah blah blah.

finally we went back to our booth again and took individual photo shoots before we were dismissed.

i think everybody was super relieved when its finally over..since thru out the whole event we just kept whining and complaining. hahas.

i was soo super happy to change out of my dress and heels into my comfortable slippers.

i went to shop around the IT fair afterwards, since i haven't really shopped around the IT fair despite being there for 2 whole days already.

helped dear check out some sony mp3 player..before going to visit el at the jabra booth.

was super hungry and i asked el for food...and she let me have a few bites on her subway sandwich.

wahahas. like some begger like that. but i was really hungry like hell since i have not eaten for the whole day(it was already evening when i ended work).

then went to buy my ismart hard disk...100 gb for $109. hehes.

after which i went back to the laptop bag booth to choose my bag. and the bags there turned out to be nicer than i thought it would be. the bags are quite ex too...at least 59 bucks and above..O.o

in the end chose a bag which i think i will nv spend 69 bucks on it. but its free anyways. so hee. nvm la. =)

after that left the IT fair and i wanted to have dinner there..but i decided that it was too crowded. went to watsons wanting to get my dinosaur sweets..but they don't have it. so i bought maltesers in the end.

then as i walked furthur down the citylink mall, i passed by guardian and saw that they sell the dinosaur sweets. so bought another pack. -.-

i'm spending so much money on snacks.

yar so anyway...went back to sengkang and had dinner at cp. saw charles & keith having some sale and i bought a pair of slippers which cost $7 only. wahahas.

its a super fruitful day!! although i was super shagged.
