Day 1:
i'm so shagged.
today is the first time working at IT fair w/o el.
zz i felt so damn stupid coz i was late and i tot gotta meet my I/C outside the hall to take the exhibitor pass to get into the hall. and so when i reached i saw nobody familar outside the hall and i was panicking as to who i should call. in the end called el and she asked me to call dom.
then..called dom le she said try getting in w/o the pass.
and so i walked up to the security guard and asked, "can i go in?"
he replied yes.
then i said, "but i don't have the pass."
and he gave me this r-u-stupid-or-wad look and said ,"yArrr u can go in la u're wearing the uniform."
and so i walked into the hall feeling rather stupid.
anyway. work was pretty alright la. was so busy toking to the customers and before u know it..its night time already! wahahas.
sales was rather chui though. sold only 20 headsets. could have sold more. i think i was leading in sales initially with 17 sets.
and then i got super lazy and complacent.
i just laze around and talk to my colleagues and stone.
all da way till 8pm when there's only one hr left to the end of the show and i'm like omg i'm stuck at 17 sets for how long already.(while jo and cx sold like more than 20 sets alr)
so the last hour i was super freaked out and kept babbling on to cust not letting them go. wahahas.
there was this customer who wanted to come back another day coz the free car charger was not available today. and so he thought he might as well come back n buy another day.
and i practically forced him into buying it today by emphasizing, "oh the free car charger is while stock last one. maybe another day u come back no more already. if u buy now still can reserve one for urself."
aiya which is all bullshit la. there are plenty of free car chargers avail. he bought it in the end anyway..after much pressure from me. wahahahs.
i think i'm getting so unethical.
wahahas.
nowadays i don't even bother to offer to let customers try on the headset anymore. coz its so troublesome to help them pair their phone to the headset and wait for the headset to be connected and thEN wait for the customer to call their frenz and listen to them saying stuff like, "hello? hello? can u hear me? is it clear?" blah blah blah.
waste of time.
and so now i'll just kept saying things like, "oh its very good..u can be assured of our quality.." blah blah blah hoping that the cust will just buy it w/o requesting to do a demo.
its so much more hassle-free.
rather than them trying on for damn long and then say oh its too noisy blah blah blah so they dun wan alr blah blah blah.
so i conclude that i'm getting quite unethical. hurhurhur.
eating cup noodles now. coz the meals provided today were not meant for human consumption. had nasi lemak w uncooked rice for lunch and spicy mee goreng for dinner that killed all my tastebuds.
my poor legs need a massage.
