Day 1, Monday:
started my PA on mon. went to dhl...ehh i was late la coz the train at expo took damn long to come. in e end reached expo took a cab(coz DHL was quite far from expo actually)..and it cost me $7 plus for that short lil distance. damn ex.

reached DHL at 835am. luckily its just briefing and got this girl later than me.

ok so the HR guy started introducing us to DHL history and stuff and let us watch this short video clip.

the video clip looks like some movie. about some guy who is a secret agent and need to complete his own secret mission and yet gotta hide it from his wife. and his wife-to-be gave him a mission to find some items by the wedding day else she will not marry him.

since he doesn't have much time to complete all the stuff, he engaged the help of DHL and showed how the efficiency and gd service of DHL has helped him in completing his mission for his job and his wife.

in e end turned out that his wife is a secret agent too.

ehh its really like some movie la...e settings and everything. a really short one though. 15 mins only. but i think it looks kinda corny the way they try to promote DHL. haas.

yea den i was allocated to the Credit Control dept.

when my supervisors told me my job scope i really felt like fainting.

i'm supposed to be like some loan shark calling up Co. and ask them for payments.

like zzz.

my supervisors say they wanted me to do sth different from other interns. like they always see interns coming in doing mandate jobs like data entry etc. so they decided that they shall not make me do that and let me learn more stuff.

like seriously. i would rather do the mandate stuff than calling ppl up.

checked with the other interns and they all had fun jobs of data entry/filing/photocopying and yet here i am having to call up Co. chasing them for payments.

and on the first day during lunch break i missed the chance of going for lunch with other interns coz i was sitting way at the back and they couldn't see me so they didn't call me for lunch.

i ended up going lunch with this m'sia woman to some nearby hawker centre. and she said she wanna da bao go back eat..like DA BAO!!! i just rotted half of my life away in the office and yet lunch break u still wanna eat in the office.

yar first day was damn damn damn sian.

Day 2, Tuesday:
second day got better i think. my mentor came back from mc and she started giving me stuff to do. so i didn't have to rot.

and during lunch break i went to bedok hawker centre with the other interns(luckily the co. got shuttle bus service to bedok hawker during lunchtime..the nearby hawker centre is really pathetic)

yep and i got to know the other interns better.

after lunch break starting the much-dreaded calling.

it wasn't as bad as i tot it would be.

just toking to e cust and ask them if there are any problems with the invoice. one phone call takes like less than 5 mins.

its even easier than promoting jabra during it fair where u talk till ur lips go dry and the customer still wouldn't buy headset.

moreover they don't have like a quota for me to call. so everything is own time own target. i shuang then i'll just take a break and stare off into the space. wahahas.

then at night i went out for supper with dear. we went to kallang coz we(ok maybe is I) wanted to eat kfc. but reached there le realize the kfc there aint 24 hrs anymore. ended up eating mac.
like zzz. travel all the way to kallang just to eat mac when we could have eat it at rivervale plaza or sth.

and the mac guy there seriously got some attitude problem.

told him we wan 2 student meals and he asked to see our student cards. dear showed his..then when its my turn to show..he look at it and say the card expired alr. and he gave that U-DUN-COME-AND-CHEAT-ME-THAT-U-R-A-STUDENT look.

LIKE HELLO ARE U COCKEYED OR BLIND OR STH. turned out that the so called expiry date he was looking at is the issue date.

luckily his colleague who is not as muddle headed as him say its e issue date.

damn angry can.

like did he even look at the birthday. IF HE SAW DEAR'S BDAY AND AM OK THAT HE IS A STUDENT THEN Y(!!!) AM I NOT STUDENT WHEN I'M YOUNGER THAN HIM BY 2 YRS.
cockeyed fellow.

they shud give some feedback form and i'll write in giant whiteboard marker on the form: PLS ASK BLAHBLAH TO OPEN HIS DAMN EYES BEFORE HE COMMENT.

Day 3, Wednesday:
was damn shagged when i report for work the next day(wednesday). like i'm practically dozing off in front of the com.

and we took the shuttle bus to simei for lunch break. shopped ard and there's this shop selling really pretty shoes! i wanna go back and see again some day.

and we all bought damn a lot of snacks to bring back to the office to eat!!! got this guy bought so much stuff that he looked as though he's going back hall or camp or sth. hahas.

and tourmaline told me that there's a shuttle bus to changi airport every wed during lunch break. and we've decided to go changi airport eat popeye next wed!!!!(turn out that she likes popeye too!)

am super happy!!! wahahas.

after work met up with dear again at tm. went to have dinner at kfc. i think the fast food is making me growing fatter everyday.

Day 4, Thursday:
then today...reported for work at like 810am? damn early la. coz i took the earlier shuttle bus and ended up at the office damn early.

zzz.

and i practically stoned from 830am to 1000am...not making a single phone call. i think i really dozed off...using my hair to cover my face and moving my pen now and then to show other ppl that i'm not dozing off.(but actually i am) WAHAHAHS.

and we went to bedok again for lunch...yea now i think the bedok hawker centre rox. am looking forward to lunch break everyday.

then after lunch break i finally get to do sth new!(other than calling) my mentor taught me how to retreive all the invoices to be sent to the cust using the system..

and my supervisor said might teach me how to analyse cust accounts after a while. dunno real or not. but ok la i'm pretty ok with calling now.

ok la PA not doesn't seem as bad. coz the ppl there are really nice(esp my mentor). and there's tourmaline to whine and complain w me wahahas.

its friday tmr!!! dress down day! seriously i'm just going to wear shirt jeans and flats. can't be bothered if it is dressed way dowm or what. i'm running out of formal wear to wear.

and i'm meeting dear again tmr after work!!! yeaaa luckily his camp is nearby...can meet up everyday..makes me feel alot better working at changi.

oh and i'm so into kimono dresses now!!
