updates on my exams.

2 papers down on thurs. i'm 50% done, 50% more to go.

304 paper was chui. 30 mins of reading time is totally not enough.

they should give me like 30 mins to be in the state of shock and then recover from it, and another 30 mins for reading the questions proper.

i think i did my paper in e state of shock.

and i actually spent 5 mins reading the textbook during the exams for audit sampling formula coz i wasn't sure of it and i was determined not to give up on it.

like reading the textbook during exams???

in the end the ans is still wrong anyway.

304 paper is just totally about flipping and writing, flipping, and more flipping.

i really really hope i can get some decent grade for it since now i don't have any coursework grades to pull me up.

translation..i think the paper is a complete joke. not that the questions are a joke, my answers are a complete joke.

example of a qn during the exams:

translate to chinese "could any spectacle, for instance, be more grimly whimsical than that of gunners using science to shatter men's bodies while, close at hand, surgeons use it to restore them?"

like O.o.

i think i need some kind of translation from english to simple english before i can translate it to chinese.

i think my ans was something like, "有什么奇观， 就好比chiang手用科学粉碎人体，外科医生用来复元它。。。" i can't rmb my full and exact sentence..in short its just some rubbish ans which don't even make sense to me.

i just hope i can pass.

2 more papers to go.

tcm is another major chinese headache. taking higher chinese for 6 yrs and then not touching it for 4 years apparently doesn't help at all.
